ABOUT US

The Animal Assistance Program (AAP) is 501(c) 3 Non-Profit organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation and bettering the lives of animals in need.  AAP is run entirely by compassionate, like-minded individuals who volunteer their time and resources to help make a positive impact in the lives of animals.

We are dedicated to the following goals:

•    Providing food, supplies, spay/neuter help, and resources to animals in need
•    Promoting spay and neutering to end the suffering of overpopulation and unwanted animals

 

As of September 2024, AAP has TNR'd or rescued over 430 cats in the Greater Harrisburg area. We have also helped spay/neuter 20 owned/adopted cats.​

 

250 cats x 2 litters a year x 3 cats per litter = 2,580 cats

Through the tireless efforts of our volunteers, 1,500 cats (or more!) won't be born into an impoverished and dangerous life of fighting, limited/no food, no shelter, no vet care, no love, no compassion.
